Is it possible to connect our property system with the Viu platform?

Yes, most modern property management systems can be connected (integrated) with the Viu platform. We have developed a REST API that makes it possible to automatically synchronize data about tenants, move-ins, documents, important messages, etc., provided that your system supports this type of synchronization.

Which web browsers does ViuManager support?

Latest versions of Chrome, Safari and Edge.

How big is a WallPad?

The outer dimensions of the frame for the 22-inch screen are: height 545 mm, width 585 mm, depth 56 mm. The outer dimensions of the frame for the 43-inch screen are: height xxx mm, width yyy mm, depth zz mm.

What guarantees does WallPad have?

The standard warranty on all hardware is 2 years from the date of purchase. This can be extended up to 5 years if desired. You can also add other types of warranties such as vandalism warranty and replacement warranty, which several of our customers have done and are very satisfied with.

Can I have multiple WallPads in a stairwell?

Yes, in ViuManager you can configure multiple WallPads to a stairwell/tenant register.

Can I install other apps and software on WallPad?

The whole basic idea of ​​our Viu platform is to build on standards that are as open as possible.

We do not want to lock our customers into locked proprietary solutions and hardware, but rather it should be possible to invest in our screens and then, if we do not live up to expectations or for other reasons, replace the apps and software with something else if desired.

Please note, however, that warranties and other terms will expire if such a replacement is made.

How do I install TenantViu on my device?

When installing a new or existing device with TenantViu, the device must be connected to the internet.

When the device is powered on, you will be presented with three choices on the screen.

NOTE!! In this step it is important that you as the user/installer select “Enroll with EloView” .

Once you have made this selection, the device will restart and download updates for the screen.

(The device may restart during this step)

When a QR Code appears on the screen, the device is updated and ready for Onboarding.

Scan the QR code with your mobile phone and fill in the required information on your phone.

Once you have completed the steps on your phone, the screen will soon show your residence record and the information you have chosen to associate with that device in ViuManager.

How do I restart the screen?

On site

1. Unscrew the frame to access the back of the screen.
2. Find the two buttons on the back.
3. Press and hold the two buttons on the back simultaneously for 2-3 seconds, or just the power button for 2-3 seconds.
Control Panel view should pop up and ask for password.
(If you don't have the password, contact support)
4. In the bottom right corner of the screen is the option “Restart”.
5. Tap it and select “Restart Device”.

1. Unscrew the frame so you can access the power cables, either the end of the cable that is in the transformer or the end that is in the screen.
2. Unplug the power cord.
3. Count to 10.
4. Insert the Power Cable.

Via ViuManager

1. Find your device via the Address tab.
2. Under the Information tab, Devices, there are 3 dots on the right side. This opens a menu of events you can perform on the device.
3. Click there on “Restart”

My screen has no internet.

Troubleshooting

  • Is the display connected with an Ethernet cable (RJ45 connector)?
  • Is there internet access in the property?
  • Connect the Ethernet cable to a computer to ensure connection to the router.

If you have ensured that there is an internet connection to the screen, contact support with the following information.

My screen won't turn on, what do I do?

Troubleshooting

  • Check that all cables are connected as they should.
  • Restart the device
  • Unplug the power plug.
  • Count to 10
  • Reconnect the plug.

Is the problem still there?

  • Take a picture/short video of the screen
  • Find out which Device Page the screen has
    (e.g. I215A156945)
  • Write a descriptive text about the problem.
  • Describe what you think might have happened.
