Last week it was time for the annual summer party. This time there was a display of VPSL's stuff in Blå Hallen in Karlskrona, including their huge screen. We couldn't help but try playing some games on it too.

Afterwards, there was a cozy boat trip in the archipelago, which was enjoyed with good food and drinks.

As usual, a very pleasant day.

New AllTix corporate and school portal – now in testing phase!

We are pleased to present the first part of AllTix in a real environment – ​​our school and company portals.

This marks an important step from vision to reality, where we are now fine-tuning the experience based on feedback from actual users.

The portals are the starting point for our comprehensive platform that will emerge in 2025:

  • A smooth, end-to-end solution for distributing public transport tickets, specifically designed for businesses, schools and municipalities
  • An innovative platform where simplicity meets advanced functionality

The testing phase is now beginning with carefully selected pilot users to optimize every detail before we gradually make the platform available to everyone.

Mathias has long and solid experience as a developer in the consulting industry.

Being a consultant can be a lot of fun, but Mathias wanted something different and joined AllBinary/Mobilix just over 7 years ago and has no regrets. Today, he is a rock for his employees to lean on when the going gets tough.

It doesn't matter if it's TypeScript and Tailwind in UI, SQL and GO in backend, or Github actions in devops: Mathias has a handle on (almost) everything. Say what you want about the word “full stack,” but Mathias really lives up to expectations.

Most of his time has been spent on the large AllTix project lately. His primary role there is backend where he set up systems to automatically generate code based on API specifications. He has also set up the frontend equivalent, which the entire team is happy about.

Mathias is known for his humility and willingness to help others: sharing knowledge and solving problems together is fun! A genuine interest in the whole stack, from backend, via devops, to frontend and even a bit of UI/UX, is something that makes Mathias very unique. He is truly passionate about learning more and testing new technologies.

Viu has installed in the Riksbanken, Karlskrona. A historic property in one of our customers' portfolio and an important step for Viu.

An old restored building with today's technology for easy handling of notifications and information dissemination!

About 40 WallTags and BoxTags were installed and a Wallpad controlled via our own ViuManager.

Innovative web developer with a passion for UX and technology

Mathilda has had a strong interest in technology since a young age and trained as a web developer at Blekinge Institute of Technology. With experience in both web development and computer security, she is passionate about creating solutions that make a real difference for customers.

She specializes in frontend with React and TypeScript, but is also skilled in backend development with Django (Python) and Go. Mathilda also has a strong interest in UX design and focuses on user-friendly interfaces.

Today she works with AllTix, a platform for easier ticket purchasing, where she develops for both frontend and backend. The focus is on responsive design and optimizing functionality and user flows.

Mathilda is curious and solution-oriented, finding effective solutions to complex problems and working closely with clients to understand their needs. Her detail-oriented approach, combined with a sense of the big picture and passion for UX and design, ensures that her solutions are both intuitive and aesthetically pleasing.

Since 2021, Malvacom has had an office on the pier in Karlshamn and now we have just moved into new premises there. With some of our employees based in western Blekinge, it feels right to be able to offer a local workplace and at the same time strengthen our presence in Blekinge.


Yesterday we visited and took the opportunity to have lunch with Mathias Wijk from Karlshamn Municipality. An inspiring conversation about, among other things, collaborations within the region. It is always inspiring to meet people who are passionate about what they do and if you can do it while eating a good lunch - then it will be a really good day.

GEEKBEER – An evening of code magic and community

The day before yesterday it was finally time for Geekbeer at All Binary Industries! What an evening it was.

We missed you Jörgen , but kept the flag high anyway (next time we have no excuse to accept). Tommy showed up with his side project – an AI assistant that can devour and actually understand code library documentation. When Tommy asked "is that too technical?" the answer from the room was a resounding "NO, GO FOR IT!" Exactly the kind of encouragement that makes innovation flourish. Tomas offered the highlight of the evening with live wibe-coding where he built a web game before our eyes. Suddenly we were all transformed from spectators to product owners shouting specifications across the room. "You have to have a leaderboard, and two suns"

These kinds of evenings remind us why we build technology – it’s as much about the community around coding as it is about the solutions themselves. When passionate people share their knowledge, something magical happens. What’s your experience with these kinds of tech meetups?

Now we can't take any more space!

With tons of new projects, great clients, and even more amazing colleagues, our office has become... well, a little too crowded. A pleasant problem, but still a problem that needed to be solved quickly!

Thanks to our landlord, Kruthusen , the solution was both simple and smooth. They freed up our neighboring premises, and soon we have another hundred square meters to fill with creativity, innovation and a little coffee.

What will the new space contain?
- A hardware lab for even more technological advancements.
- New conference rooms – because you can never have too many of them!
- Inspiring and creative workplaces that hopefully match our energy.

Moving in is in just a few weeks, and we're hoping for some moving porridge, bread and salt to celebrate (or maybe something with a little more caffeine)!

One size doesn't fit all...

A clear trend in Proptech right now is the move to decentralized systems and SaaS solutions. Many have tried to bring together multiple functions and services in a single platform, but this often leads to compromises that neither optimize functionality nor business value.

At the same time, the demands from users – tenants – are increasing. They expect digital solutions that are specific, efficient and that truly improve the living experience.

The most successful Proptech solutions are those that focus on their core service. A passage system should be the best at access. A booking system should be the best at booking. Digital booking boards should offer the best user experience and an intuitive interface for finding and booking available resources.

But to make this work, open platforms with well-documented integration services are required.

Our platform has had integrations as a top priority since inception. It is built from the ground up to facilitate collaboration between systems – something we are now seeing more people in the Proptech industry starting to embrace.

Intensive but rewarding days in northern Sweden!

This week we have had the privilege of spending time with our largest customers and projects, and it has been both educational and inspiring.

During these days we have had many pleasant meetings where we have received constructive feedback on both our collaboration and our products – insights that we will take with us to become even better going forward.

But perhaps the best part? Getting to meet for real! In an age where so much happens via screens, it's something really special to meet face to face, build relationships and discuss the future.

The Kiruna Card is coming soon!

We are continuing the success and launching the Kiruna Card, a successor to Luleå's Summer Holiday Card where more than 1,000 digital summer holiday cards were distributed for free travel to young people in Luleå!

With the Kiruna Card you get both a season ticket for free travel within the Kiruna urban area and a means of payment to use for other travel within the municipality.

With a background in game programming and a background in 3D rendering, Tommy has brought his technical skills to a variety of industries. Proud moments from Malvacom's history!

In the latest issue of Ny Teknik we were able to read a fascinating article about their 33-list, which highlights Sweden's most promising technology startups every year. The list has included several successful companies over the years (2008–2023), and we are proud that Malvacom was on the list in both 2011 and 2012!

To be mentioned in the same context as companies like Spotify , Izettle , Mojang and Truecaller is something we still feel both humbled and excited about. It's a reminder of the journey we've been on – and which we continue to develop.

Meet Joakim Ottosson

Meet Joakim Ottosson, our latest addition to the organization in terms of frontend development, but also UI/UX design!

Background: Joakim has extensive experience in a variety of areas, including development of digital services and educational materials for both the private and public sectors. His background also includes work in UX design, requirements definition and process development.

Expertise: Today he focuses on front-end development with a strong emphasis on UI/UX design. His technical focus lies primarily on TypeScript, React, and Tailwind, which he uses to create modern, responsive, and accessible interfaces.

Carina Augustsson

Today we want to shine a spotlight on one of our experienced and versatile developers, who with his long background in the telecom industry and over 20 years of experience in software development is an invaluable asset to us.

Background: With a solid background in backend development, she also masters frontend and testing. Carina has a solid understanding of the entire development chain, from requirements to delivery – something that really comes into its own in our projects.

Expertise: Backend is the core of Carina's work, but she is also comfortable with frontend and testing. Python and TypeScript are the main programming languages ​​in Carina's toolbox.

Ongoing projects: Carina is currently working on a customer portal for a real estate company, an exciting project where the entire development process – from idea to finished solution – is permeated by Carina's expertise and drive.

Momentum's customer days in Stockholm

Today we are on site during Momentum's customer days in Stockholm, and it has been a fantastic experience to meet both existing and potential customers! We proudly show off our digital screens and products, and it has been incredibly valuable to get direct feedback on new functionality and ideas on how we can further develop them.

We are particularly proud of how easily real estate companies can connect Momentum's property system with our screens and displays. During installation, you simply enter the address where the screen is located, and information such as housing registers, public transport, building codes, energy declarations and other important documents automatically appear.

New customer - Trossöfastigheter

Now we are rolling out property number two together with Trossöfastigheter.
In connection with the renovation of the Riksbanken property in central Karlskrona, Viu will install WallPads, WallTags and BoxTags.
The property has great cultural value so it was important that all the technology blends in nicely with the existing environment. We have had to work with our carpenters to get just the right shade of wood in the products and make sure that all the gateways and other technical equipment are not visible. However, all the challenges we have faced together with Trossöfastigheter have helped us to further develop the Viu series with a more streamlined design for our WallTags and BoxTags so this collaboration has really benefited both of us.

Rewriting the HållKoll Mobile App becomes a reality! Now the development team for Mobilix is ​​transforming the mobile app from an app to a mobile-friendly web app!

Public Transport Day 16th May

The great thing about these types of fairs, besides the fair itself, is meeting colleagues in the industry. Mobilix itself has not been an exhibitor here for various reasons, but this year we thought we would at least go there and be a visitor.

Grant 2.0

System update for Anslag 2.0
Mobilix presents an even smoother and faster tool where we are currently implementing a major system update of Anslag 2.0.

We have several Regional Public Transport Authorities (RKM) that use Anslag today. In 2023, we have worked with them to further develop Anslag with new functionality and implement our customers' updated graphic profiles.

During our work with Anslag, we saw that there was an underlying need for a major system update. This will increase the performance of Anslag and we are now launching an even better tool soon.

Release of Grants 2.0

We are planning a release of Anslag 2.0 in the spring of 2024. More detailed information about how it works will be presented when we release the system update!

A major update to the HållKoll mobile app has been released to our users! The latest version is now version 1.5.0

We've really raised the bar for system applications with the latest bug fixes and UX/UI improvements.
